Obituary

NORTH – Janet L. (Good), Westmont,

Went to be with Our Heavenly Father on January 2, 2018.

Born February 13, 1939, Johnstown, Pa. Daughter of Ethel F. (Christner) and George Good.

Preceded in Death by Parents and Husband- Thilbert G. North, Daughter Tina Yoder,

Grandson William J. Yoder Jr. and Sisters Emma Jean Martin and Delores Ciciman.

Survived by Daughters Diane, married to Joseph Govekar of Westmont and Tammy Keller married to LTC Raymond Keller of Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Grand Children Jaime (Yoder) Blackwell of Texas, Tiffany Ragan of Johnstown, SSG Nicolas Demetris of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Mitchel Keller of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Also Great Grand Children Brandon, Ki’Anna, Caprice, Harper, Gabriel, Brooklyn, and Avaia.

Brothers- Robert Christner,and Michael Christner. Sisters- Nancy Vickroy, and Harriet Mirilovich. Step-Brother David Christner. Janet was a member of the Somerset Street Mennonite Church. Also a member of the Woodvale AC Club and the AC Club Ladies Auxiliary. Mom enjoyed playing 500 rummy, Bingo and word search puzzles. Mom also loved traveling to Florida where she enjoyed afternoons at the beach collecting sea shells. Mom fought a long courageous battle with congestive heart failure, where she spent her final days at The Church of the Brethren Nursing Home under the care of Windber Hospice. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The Windber Hospice.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Spring, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 609 Walters Avenue.
