Blue, Janice I., 74, Johnstown, passed away August 15, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center. Born August 29, 1946, to the late Loren and Elizabeth (Nagy) Blue. Preceded in death by brother, Larry Blue. Survived by siblings, Terry Blue (Susan); Debbie Fuska (Bernie); nieces and nephews, Cindy Day (Jeff); Greg Blue (Patty); Jeff Blue (Colleen); April Croyle (Brad); Megan Mlinarchik-Gutierrez (Christina); Erin Anderson (Gareth); great nieces and nephews, Joshua Day; Stacy Serenko; Marisa Hyland; Eric Blue; Michael Blue; Tiffany Salgado-Blue; Jacob Blue; Tabith James; Leighton and Hayden Croyle; Evva, Loren, and Matilda Anderson; 21 great great nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Viona Blue. Janice was a graduate of Ferndale High School and Clarion State College. She taught for 35 years in the Westmont Hilltop Elementary Schools and was an active member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren before she became ill. Janice coached and played softball and volleyball and thoroughly enjoyed golfing in her retirement years. The family would like to thank Janice’s doctors, nurses, and the staff at the Villa for their tender, compassionate care. Family and friends will be received Wednesday, August 18 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., where a service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m., Pastor Rob Wolf, officiating.
