Drop, Jean Ann, 91, Johnstown, passed away January 17, 2021 of natural causes at Arbutus Park Manor. Born July 26, 1929 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Florek) Zajdel. Preceded in death by loving husband, Joseph John Drop; and siblings, Josephine Ludwig, Wanda Costa, Edward Sabatowski, Thomas Zajdel, Walter Zajdel, and Theodore Zajdel, making her the last surviving member of her family. Survived by children, Joseph (Wanda) Drop, Richard Drop (Jackie Sweeney), Marilyn (Charles) Romanchock, and Carolyn (James) Thompson; 8 grandchildren, Jeffrey Drop, Shelly Dumas, Aaron Drop, Shawna Bothell, Eric Thompson, Bradley Thompson, Charles Romanchock, and Michael Romanchock; 10 great grandchildren, Camila Santos; Gabriel Drop; Andrew Drop; Madison Dumas; Samuel, Nolan, and Alex Thompson; Nora and Logan Bothell; and Saylor Drop; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Arbutus Park Manor and Windber Hospice staff for the wonderful care they provided for our Mother. Jean was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She loved her family and life and lived it to it’s fullest. We will all miss her. Due to current public gathering restrictions, a private family viewing and mass will be held.
