Obituary

McAleer, Jean M., Johnstown, passed away October 28, 2022. Born to the late Patrick and Rita (Bradley) McAleer. She was also preceded in death by her son John P. Wasnick; brother, David McAleer; sisters, Sarah and Rosemary. She was survived by her daughter Rita Wasnick; brother, Daniel (Betty) McAleer; sister, Lauriann Smith and five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Jean worked as a secretary for Congressman Murtha for many years and also worked for Joe Kanuch Excavating. Jean belonged to the Croatian Hall and the Russian Club and also the Polski Dom. At Jean’s request there will not be any viewing or service at this time. She is going to be sadly missed by her family and friends.
