Wyant, Joan, 85, of Johnstown, passed away December 26, 2020 at Windber Woods. Born August 6, 1935 to the late John and Mary (Bugara) Strashensky in Johnstown. She is preceded in death by parents; loving husband of 48 years, James L. Wyant; and brother, Edward Strashensky. Joan is survived by daughters, Jacqueline McLean, of Dale; and Mary Edwards and husband Ron, of Dale; siblings, Charles Strashensky, of Johnstown; John L. Strashensky and wife Virginia, of TN; James T. Strashensky, of OH; Bob Strashensky, of Johnstown; and Marion Strashensky, of NJ; grandchildren, Donald McLean, Brian McLean, Keith Scott, and Doug Ohler; 8 great granddaughters; and 1 great grandson. Joan was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Church and worked as a Sewing Machine Operator for Bestform.
