Obituary

Nemeth, John A. Jr., 90, Johnstown, died February 15, 2018 at Laurelwood Care Center. Born October 25, 1927 to the late John and Mildred (Burggraf) Nemeth. Preceded in death by siblings, Robert, Evelyn, and Barbara. Survived by wife, Jean; children, David and wife Donna, Leslie, and Susan; brother-in-law, Tom; sister-in-law, Shirley; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and very special grand-cats. John served stateside in the Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed his long career at Bethlehem Steel where he worked in the gas plant and blast furnace, mostly in Lower Cambria Works. At John’s request there will be no viewing or service. Donations may be made in John’s name to the Humane Society of Cambria or Somerset County.
