Dranchak, John E. – 79, Hastings, died Sunday September 6, 2015, at Golden Living Haida. Born June 26, 1936 in Patton; the only child of Eva Dranchak. Preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife Ruth (Rusnak), his children, Stephen (Christa) Dranchak, Ohio; Mary (Perry) Burkey, Hastings; Barbara (Leroy) Cloud, Northern Cambria; Eva (Darrin) Neuer, Los Angeles, CA; Nancy Waltman, Hastings; Katherine Roda, Lancaster, PA; John E. Dranchak Jr (Glenna), Hastings; and Margaret Kent, Nicktown; John is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way. John served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a retired Coal Miner. Friends will be received from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Wednesday September 9, 2015 at the Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver Street, Hastings. A funeral mass will be held at 11am on Thursday September 10, 2015 at SS. Peter & Paul Greek Catholic Church, Patton, PA. Father Vasyl Officiating. Interment at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by Hastings VFW Post #1586.
