Kushner, John J. “Jack”, 87, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2020. Born June 17, 1933 in Johnstown, son of the late John M. and Mary (Sakmar) Kushner. Preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved sister Marion Kushner. Survived by loving wife of 65 years, Helen M. (Kupecky); children, Jack Kushner (Lisa), Glenn Kushner (Lesli), Rich Kushner; survived by 7 grandchildren, Cody (Dina), Nathan, Hunter, Trevor (Kelsy), Travis, Tucker and Tanner; his siblings, Jane Bell, Donna Austin (Bernard), Robert Kushner, and Barry Kushner; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was a Korean  war veteran who loved his country. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel where he worked as an electrician. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and searching for Indian relics, flea markets, auctions with his loving wife Helen. He coached his “Cardinals” of East Taylor little league for many years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. “Pap” was loved and will be missed by all. The family wants to give a special thanks to Lisa for all the care she provided for John, as well as Tabitha, Ashley, Sherry, and Jim from Interim Hospice. Friends and family will be received Monday August 3, 2020 from 4 – 8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. A service will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home at 11 AM. Military Honors from Menoher Post #155. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
