Obituary

LeComte, John J., 72, Cresson, died July 16, 2014, at UPMC Altoona. Born June 24, 1942 in Cresson; son of the late Clotaire and Angeline (Roberts) LeComte. Preceded in death by his parents; he is also preceded in death by his brothers Bill and Sam LeComte. He is survived by sons, Martin LeComte, Cresson; Ricky LeComte, Cresson; Scott LeComte, Cresson; Daughter Miché Harrison, Loretto; 5 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Philomena Noel, Windber; Rose Marie Wilk, Cresson; Janet Ray, Michigan; Mary Lou Sassano, Williamsport.
John was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Pace Pipeline
He was a member of the Moose, he was also a member of the St. Peadro Di Roma Italian Society, Cresson Legion, Loretto Legion, and the Ashville VFW.
At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation or services.
