Obituary
John “Jack” grew up the youngest of his family, born to first generation immigrants from the Czech republic, the late Charles and Mary (Schensny) Rusnak. Also preceded in death by wife, Beverly (Brothers) Rusnak; brothers, Andrew, Joseph, Edward and Thomas; sisters, Mary Migut and Catherine Hileman. He is survived by three sons, Charles (Rebecca), John, and Matthew (Diane); grandchildren Megan, Kaitlyn, Shaelyn and Anjulee; and many nieces and nephews. John was a man of strong convictions in his beliefs. He had a strong moral character that he did not thrust upon anyone, instead choosing to lead by example. He married the love of his life, a wife of 54 years, and wasted no time starting a family. Family was always the center of Jack’s life. He was a dedicated husband and loving father of three sons. Through good times and bad, through harmony and struggle, he always made sure to provide for his family. He was the moral compass in raising his sons to lead productive lives with their own families. We will remember him for the source of strength he provided to his family and will continue to live in his footsteps as that same source of character and strength for others. John loved to create crafts and was skilled in making wood crafts, drawing, and painting. We will miss him dearly. Services will be held privately.
