Bennett, John M. Jr., 81, Windber, passed away September 26, 2022, at Windber Hospital. Born January 15, 1941, to the late John and Ethel (Newcomer) Bennett Sr. Preceded in death by wife, Darlene “Ida” (Hipp) Bennett; son, John Bennett III; grandchildren, Bradly and Scotty; and sisters, Jean Sechrengost; Mary Robb; and Joan Rocco. Survived by daughter, Deanna Dukery; grandchildren, BJ and Tara; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Charlie. John enjoyed hunting and working on cars. He was a mechanic his entire life and owned J.B. Auto Sales.  Family will receive friends Saturday October 1^st from 11 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. John’s nephew, Mike Swinger, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
