Obituary

Smith, John, 75, Latrobe, died March 3, 2015 at the Latrobe Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Born February 18, 1940.  Son of the late John and Evelyn (Smith) Olenick.  Survived by sons, David and Craig Smith, Pittsburgh; granddaughters, Alissa (Jason) Cirvaro, Amanda Smith, and Brooke Smith; and great grandson, Joey.  John served our country in the U.S. Army.  He also worked as a Credit Manager at Lee Hospital.   Family and friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, with a service to follow at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Johnstown, Pastor Kirk Rowland officiating.  Inurnment at Richland Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Arrangements in care of Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 146 Chandler Ave., exclusive provider of “Veterans and Family Memorial Care.” Condolences may be made at HindmanFuneralHomes.com.
