Valeria, Joseph P., 76, Hastings, passed away peacefully on Friday February 16, 2018, at Miners Medical Center, Hastings. He was born September 19, 1941 in Spangler, son of the late Paul and Mary M. (Pagano) Valeria.  Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Frances (Schall).  Survived by his brother Robert Valeria and his wife Dorothy (jones), Hastings ; his sister-in-law Regina Saylor and her husband Gary, Monroeville;  his nieces, Marcia (Shawn) Curler, Plum, PA; Melissa (Tom) Willis, Monroeville; Michele (Tom) Williams, Pittsburgh; Heather (Kevin) Hefty, Reading;  Holly (Mike) DeLatte, Raleigh, NC; his nephew Bill Valeria, Hastings; and his great-nephews Aric , Devin, Logan, Grayson; his great-nieces Kaitlyn, Kylee, Alexa, Kennedy, and Sydney. Jo-Jo was a Barber. He was a member of the Hastings Volunteer Fire Department & Fire Club for 58 years, a former fire club director, a past delegate to Central District and Cambria County Fire Associations, a past member of the fire convention committee, and a former member of the Station 55 fire police, and was also a regular member of the Hastings VFW.  Friends and family will be received on Monday February 19, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 333 Beaver Street, Hastings, PA. There will be a visitation on Tuesday February 20, 2018 at St. Bernard Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral Mass at 11 a.m., Father Thaddeus  Rettger OSB, officiating. Interment will be at St. Bernard Cemetery, Hastings.
