Vignero, Joseph W., 86, Johnstown, died November 12, 2015 at Forest Hills Personal Care Home.  Born November 9, 1929 in Johnstown; son of the late Joseph H. and Ethel (Jenkins) Vignero.  Preceded in death by brother, Gilbert Vignero and sisters, Frances (Gilbert) Wills, Angela (Elmer) Hale, and Rose (Steve) Bachani; sister-in-law, Martha Vignero.  Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Charlotte E. (Varner) Vignero; daughter, Michelle Vignero and bestie/sister, Karen Smith married to Bill; son, Joseph Vignero married to Leslie (Bodner), all of Johnstown; grandchildren, Brittany Furfari married to Frank, VA; Zachary Vignero, married to Brianne (Seitz), Johnstown; great-granddaughter, Gianna Furfari, VA; sister, Esther Horner married to Richard, Johnstown; Linda Gaston married to Samuel, and Scarlett Kritz married to Paul, both of OH; brothers, James married to Sandra, and Louis Vignero, both of OH. Joseph was a U.S. Army Veteran. Member of St. Barnabas & Gregory Church. Was an avid sports fan who cheered on the Johnstown Chiefs and Tomahawks, Pittsburgh Penguins, Pirates, and Steelers. Joseph was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. The family would like to thank the staff of Heartland Hospice, Somerset, Forest Hills Personal Care Home, and Dr. Bencie for their exceptional care. Friends received Mon., Nov. 16 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road, where funeral services will be held Tues., Nov. 17 at 11 a.m., Rev. Robert L. Ruston, officiating. Military honors conducted by the Menoher VFW Post 155. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defer funeral cost.
