Savering, Josephine A. “Josie”, 76, Johnstown, died May 23, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 25, 1943 to the late Joseph and Mary (Dagostino) LaPorta. Preceded in death by husband of 50 years, William Savering; sister, Rosalie Jones; father-in-law, Cyril D. Savering “Pap”; and brother-in-law, Charlie Foster. Survived by children, Chrissy Kelly and husband Buddy; Billy Savering and wife Jocelyn; grandchildren, Stephanie Radwanski and husband Jake; Shauna Kelly; Rylei and Katie Dietz; Abbie Savering; great grandson, Caleb Radwanski; siblings, Leonard LaPorta and wife Lois; Maryann Wyandt and husband Chuck; Pollyann Crum and companion Vick; Kathy Foster; Joseph LaPorta and wife Veronica; Frank LaPorta and wife Theresa; brother-in-law, Robert Savering Sr. and wife Jo; numerous nieces and nephews; and good friend, Ginny Glattke. Josie was an avid crafter who enjoyed beads, plastic canvas, and ceramics. She also enjoyed going camping with family at Woodland Campground. Services to be held privately.
