Holtz, Julie A. – 50, Hastings, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 31, 2017, at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 11, 1966, in Hastings, a daughter of William J. and Jean M. (Kirsch) Holtz. She was preceded in death by her mother, and her brother Jeff L. Holtz. Julie is survived by her father William J. Holtz; her siblings, Beth Biernesser, Cranberry Twp., PA; Curt Holtz (Christine), Greensboro, NC; Bill Holtz (Pam), Ebensburg, PA; Lyn Holtz (Sandra), Annandale, VA; her Nieces and Nephews, Ashley and Kelsey Biernesser; Tyler, Samantha, Rachel, and Wes Holtz; Cooper and Kelly Holtz. Julie attended the Clelian Heights School in Greensburg, and worked at SAMS Club in Greensburg. She loved riding horses, enjoyed bowling, she was an expert swimmer and won many awards for it over the years, she loved music, and enjoyed arts and crafts. Julie will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends and family will be received Friday June 2, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St. Hastings, PA 16646, and again on Saturday June 3, 2017 at St. Bernard Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 11 a.m., Father Thaddeus Rettger OSB, Officiating. Interment will be at St. Boniface Cemetery, Hastings. Donations in memory of Julie can be made to the National Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
