Mattes, Justin N., 38, Johnstown, passed away November 18, 2019 at UPMC-Altoona. Born July 29, 1981 to Terrence W. and Rose M. (Haynal) Mattes. Preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and his beloved dog Mu-Shu. Survived by his parents; his siblings, Jason Mattes, Holly Yarnick (Scott), Heather Facci (John), Joshua Mattes (Jessica); nieces and nephews, Emily, Autumn, Austin, Ali, Aiden and Olivia; his god parents, Steve and Fran Haynal.  Justin enjoyed listening to music, watching Penn State football, ethnic foods, gardening, cooking (especially making pizzas at the Johnstown Inn and Leo’s), construction projects, and spending time with friends and family, and would help anyone that needed it. Friends and family will be received on Sunday November 24, 2019 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 6 PM. Father Balestino, officiating.
