Obituary

Baumbaugh, Kara Ellene, 77, Johnstown, went to be with our Lord on January 22, 2024. Born October 15, 1946, to the late Lloyd and Harriet (Walker) Lambert. She is reunited with her loving husband of 54 years, Dennis, who passed away on March 29, 2023. Survived by sons, Eric (Michele) and Adam (Marsha); daughter, Cindy Wissinger (Joseph); grandchildren, Amanda (Mike), Brittany (Mike), Carly (Garrett), Jake, Olivia, Jonas, Jason, and Josie; great-grandchildren, Sabrina, Noah, Maliyah, Zaviah, Kavien, and Arya; and sisters, Doris “Dee” Lancaster (Kendall) and Flora Weirich. Kara enjoyed spending time with her family, she especially adored her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by those in her life. The family would like to thank Windber Hospice, and especially Country Manor Senior Living, for taking care of Kara.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to these facilities. For family, a private service will be held at a later date.
