Karen L. Dukes, 74, of Altoona, passed away Monday August 23, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. Born May 27, 1947 in Spangler; she was a daughter of the late Ralph E. and Ruth E. (Stoneberg) Woodley. She is also preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Richard, Randy, Billy, Ralph “Binky”, and Gary “Butsy” Woodley, sister, Shirley Thompson. Survived by her husband Wilbur “Willie” Dukes, children, Richard Brew and wife Sandy, Northern Cambria, Tony Brew, Northern Cambria, Timmy Brew, Hastings, Robert Mulraney, Misty Mulraney, Ralph Mulraney, William Dukes, all of Altoona, grandchildren, Savannah, Alexis, C.J., Manny, and Eryka; sisters, Helen Grillo, Linda Miller, Susan Zungali, Kayleen Woodley, Sharon Woodley, Karen Kopera, and brother, Clark Woodley; several nieces and nephews. Karen enjoyed spending time with her family and going to camp. She was an animal lover and leaves behind 3 dogs and a bird. Friends will be received at the Easly Hindman Funeral Home Inc, 333 Beaver St., Hastings on Thursday August 26, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. where a funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Ashley Weyant, officiating. Burial will be private at Union Cemetery.
