Obituary

Cronan, Kathleen M., 74, Conemaugh, passed away April 18, 2016 at home. Born August 23, 1941. Daughter of the late Joseph Smith and Nellie (Fontanella) Smith of Johnstown. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph Cronan. Survived by daughters, Caroline McCabe (Douglas), Potomac, MD, Christine Tampio (Christopher), Alexandria, VA, Susan Russell (Alan), Vienna, VA, and Diana Cronan (Paul Ebert), Alexandria, VA; sons, Thomas Cronan (Nan), Jupiter, FL, and Joseph Cronan, Conemaugh. Also survived by sister, Susan Bastaja, Johnstown; brothers, Roger Smith, Westlake, OH, and Joseph Smith, Hampton, VA; and grandsons, Aeron and Timothy Russell, Vienna, VA, and Adam and Jacob Tampio, Alexandria, VA. Kathleen was a member at Curves and enjoyed gardening. She was also very creative and enjoyed making cards, sewing, upholstering, and woodworking. Viewing will be private at the request of the family. Funeral service will be Monday at 10 am at St. Benedict church, Pastor David Peles officiating.
