Miller, Kathleen Marie “Katty”, 100, Johnstown, died March 17, 2019 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born June 1, 1918 to the late William and Alice (Davis) Selders. Preceded in death by husband, Theodore Edwin Miller; daughter, Kathleen Ruth Miller and husband Elmer; and siblings, Odessa Longstreth; William Jr. and Rudy Selders. Survived by son, Barry Miller (Gail); grandchildren, Elmer Miller Jr. (Deb); Edwina Polke (Bill); Kim Anderson (late Randy Anderson); Georgina Trimarki (John); Lori Rhodes (Rick); great grandchildren, Erinn, Maggie, Kody, Brady, A.J., Eric, and Ashley; and numerous great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Katty started playing piano for Bowserdale Church when she was only 12 years old. She was also a choir director and scout leader for the church. Katty’s life revolved around church and family. She was an excellent cook and baker. Family would like to thank all the staff at Arbutus, especially the nurses and aides in the Crossroads wing, and Windber Hospice for all the care and attention they provided to Katty. Friends will be received Thursday March 21 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. Pastor Rob Wolf, officiating.
