Obituary

Lichty, Kathy Jo, 59, Windber, passed away January 11, 2022 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born May 12, 1962 in Hartleton, PA.  Daughter of Richard and Carol (Robinson) Gross.  Preceded in death by mother-in-law, Ilaria Lichty; sister-in-law, Joyce Lichty; granddaughters, Ryleigh and Mikayla Freiwald; and daughter-in-law, Denna Lichty.  Survived by parents; loving husband of 40 years, John Lichty; son, Joshua Lichty, Richland; daughter, Ashley Lichty (Jason Himebaugh), Mifflinburg; daughter, Chelsea Lichty (Edward Matias), Johnstown; grandchildren, Joshua, Milo, Madison, Ciara, Lillie, Mariah, Greyson, Chloe, Anayah, and Tatianna; brother, Keith (Lisa)Gross, Orangeville; sisters, Brenda Miller (Greg), Debra Zechman (Cliff Crosby), Wendy Bilger (Steve); and Sandi Failor (Shane); step mother, Virginia Gross; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Kathy was an avid Steelers and Peguins Fan, and also enjoyed watching NASCAR.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  Family and friends will be received Thursday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., Johnstown, PA 15902, from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m.  Arrangements in care of Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., exclusive provider of “Veterans and Family Memorial Care.” Condolences may be made at HindmanFuneralHomes.com.
