Gearhart, Kevin D., 61, Salix, died Oct. 16, 2015 at Windber Hospice. Born July 21, 1954, Elton, to Kermit “Buzz” Gearhart and Gloria (Hoffman). Preceded in death by his father, Kermit. Survived by his loving wife, Judith (Stewart); daughter, Jill Stiffler married to Brandon, Indiana, PA; mother, Gloria Schellhammer married to Glenn, South Fork; siblings, Roxane Rager, New Mexico; Tammy Rayome married to Scott, Virginia; Amy Lloyd married to Steve, Carlisle; and uncle, Lynn Hoffman, South Fork. Kevin worked as a diesel mechanic for GAP, Inc. He was a member of the Johnstown RC Club, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything to do with cars and boats, but most importantly was spending time with his loving family. Friends will be received Oct. 19 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., where funeral services will be held at 8 p.m., Brandon Stiffler and Pastor Ed Newell, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Windber Hospice in Kevin’s memory.
