Cahill, Kevin James, 55, Johnstown, passed away June 22, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian surrounded by his loving daughter and mother. Survived by mother, Barbara R. Hunter; daughter, Tessie Manor and husband Ra’akim; grandchildren, Gelicia, Nijier, Nyshon, Malya, Ila, and Mykal Manor; brothers, Brian Cahill and wife Marcy; Stephen Cahill and wife Stacey; Alan Cahill and wife Julie; sister, Susan Martin; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend, Daryl. Kevin was born December 23, 1964. He was a construction worker for numerous different companies. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed hunting and other recreational activities. Kevin was an exceptional cook with his specialty being steaks that he would cook to perfection and his homemade salad made with fresh vegetables all from his garden. Nobody left his table hungry. Kevin was a devoted father and grandfather. He was best known as a warrior who fought and beat numerous health issues throughout his life such as diabetes, several heart surgeries, kidney transplant, liver transplant, cancer, stroke, HBP, and more. He took on every health problem head on and kept moving forward. Kevin will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
