Smay, Kimmey L. “Bo”, 80, South Fork, passed away on August 30, 2021, at home. Son of the late Curtis and Merna (Wingard) Smay. Preceded in death by parents, infant sister Rhonda Ardean Smay, and daughter-in-law Diane (Keiter) Smay.

Survived by wife of 61 years Elizabeth (Rodgers) Smay; daughter, Elizabeth (Mark) Burkhart of Frederick, MD; son, Curtis Smay (friend Susan) Stafford, VA.; grandchildren, Shana, Laira, and Riley Burkhart, Zachary (Sylvia) Smay, Amanda (Jason) Pierpoint, Cody (Alexandra) Smay; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Aiden, Madison, Natalie, Theodore, and Aurora; sisters, Penny (Robert) Myers, Nileleen (Michael) Tokarcik; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bo loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, telling jokes, and making people laugh. He worked in the coal mines for 17 years then worked for Schwans before he retired.

Bo’s family is grateful for the compassion and care he received from the nurses, aids, and staff of Asera Care. Many thanks to Doreen for her special care, love, and support to Bo and his family.
