Elders, Kristin M., 40, Johnstown, passed away March 13, 2016. Born March 16, 1975 in Johnstown, to Richard M. and Melissa (Thomas) Elders. Preceded in death by father; parental grandparents, Richard J. and Helen (Nazarak) Elders; maternal grandparents, Donald E. and Mona (Weakland) Thomas; uncles, Robert J. Elders; Joseph Bell; Mark J. Thomas; aunt, Sue Thomas; and great aunt; Anna Nazarak; survived by mother, Melissa Ann (Thomas) Elders; wife, Jill (Moltzan) Elders; children, Jacob, Joshua, and Aubrie Elders; sister, Suzette Elders; brother, Keith Elders and fiancé Autumn Lundstrom; mother-in-law, Sue Moltzan; father-in-law, Herb Moltzan, married to Rose Marie; brother-in-law, Lawrence married to Jennifer; niece, Quinn Elders; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Kristin was a 1993 graduate of Central Cambria and a 1997 graduate of St. Francis University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. He worked as a mobile Crisis Counselor for Cambria County. Kristin enjoyed watching and coaching his son’s sports teams, was a sports fan, and enjoyed camping and fishing. Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thurs., March 17 at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Fri., March 18 at Bridge to Life Church, 101 Nice Ave., Johnstown.
