Obituary

Oherrick, Laura Mae, 89, Everett, PA, passed away December 5, 2020 at Homewood At Spring House. Born June 23, 1931 to the late Albert and Hilda (Boxler) Fisher. Preceded in death by husband, Robert Oherrick; daughter, Vicki Oherrick; and siblings, Lail Bailey; and Albert, William and Mildred Fisher. Survived by children, Nick Oherrick and wife Ann; Kathleen Rigby and husband Jim; Mark Oherrick and wife Cindi (Strelko); grandchildren, Jennifer and Cherub Oherrick; Dominic Oherrick; Kirsten and Beau Rigby; Mark and Skylar Oherrick; siblings, Margorie Lach; Paul Fisher; and good friend of many years, Ann Podrasky. Laura loved spending time with her grandchildren as often as possible. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and singing. Laura also enjoyed playing BINGO with her fellow residents and with her young grandchildren when it was possible to do so. Special thank you to all of the staff of Homewood At Spring House, Everett, PA and especially to Randee as well as Jake and Sue who Laura’s family was blessed to have by their side in Laura’s final hours. The family would also like to thank all of the medical and support staff of UPMC Bedford Hospital, who have been so kind and caring over the past year. Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday December 11 at St. Andrew’s Church, 1612 Ferndale Ave., Johnstown, PA 15905. Father Crowe, officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
