Bowman, Linda L. (Smith), 77, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord April 27, 2022. Born August 25, 1944, to the late Gerald and Dora (Yoder) Smith; also preceded in death by her brother’s, Dick, Bill, and Brian Lorditch. Survived by her son, William K. (Bill-Wilby) Bowman III; sisters, Ida Belle (Jerry) Hileman and Pam (Michael) Sees; granddaughter, Brooklynn Anderson-Bowman; sister-in law, Linda Lorditch; special friends Carole (Bowman) and Ron Shingler; and the rest of the Bowman family. Linda worked for over 20 years as part of the Lee Hospital family where she was loved and respected in Johnstown where she had a very important part of the public relations department. She was also a warm and welcoming greeter and nursery teacher at Bridge to Life Church. Linda always enjoyed the looking at Gods beautiful Pennsylvania mountains and sharing the love of Jesus. The family would like to give special thanks to the “Hustlers” Volleyball team that she was a member of, Windber Hospice, and all the volunteers that helped with her care. The family would also like to thank everyone who sent prayers and food during this difficult time. Linda is going to be forever sadly missed by her family and friends.
