Loraine Snyder, 73, of Johnstown, passed away March 24, 2023, in her home. Born September 14, 1949, to the late Leroy and Ruth (Horner) Beamer, Jr. Survived by children, Mandy Snyder and Matthew Snyder, brothers, Barry Beamer (Linda) and Larry Beamer, Sr. (Dorothy); and nephews Larry Beamer, Jr (Kelly); and Scott Beamer. After graduating high school, Loraine was employed with Penelec. Loraine later joined the Tribune Democrat where she retired from in 2014. Loraine enjoyed fishing and boating with her son, conversations with her daughter, dining out, holidays and family gatherings, and camping with her parents at Hillegas Campground in Schellsburg, PA. She also enjoyed bowling in the West End Mixed League with family and friends. At Loraine’s request, there will be no services.
