Blankley, Lot L. – 75, Warfordsburg, passed away January 22, 2019 at his home under hospice care. Born July 12, 1943 in Warfordsburg, son of the late George W. and Hilda H. (Bishop) Blankley. He was preceded in death by his wife Leah Gould, his step-daughter Shawn Ann Reitz, his siblings, Kenneth J. Blankley, Joseph E. Blankley, Grant W. Blankley, and Roland S. Blankley. Survived by his step-daughter Carol J. Reitz-McKenzie, Warfordsburg; his siblings, George Blankley Jr.; Ann J. Crilly; Shirley J. Breakall; Dale G. Blankley; Bessie H. Wagner; Betty L. Johnson; Evelyn M. Powell; Rusty V. Blankley; Steven P. Blankley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other members of extended family. Lot was a veteran of the United States Navy, upon returning home, Lot was employed as an electrician for McCray’s Electric, and also worked as a custodian at the Warfordsburg Welcome Center, and then lastly was employed as Foreman for PennDOT where he retired. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 26, and also a member of the AmVets, both of Hancock, MD. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
