Johncola, (Mary) Louise, 87, Johnstown, passed away May 9, 2019 at her home. Born July 22, 1931 to the late Herbert and Elizabeth Ann (Dollak) Beas. Louise was a long-time member of Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph Johncola; daughter, Joetta Johnston; brother, Cletus Beas; son in law, Robert Nale; brother in law, Samuel Johncola; and sisters in law, Christine Barber; Annie Degregorio; Catherine Barber; and Rosemary Miller. Survived by daughters, Linda Nale; Kimberly Hanlin and husband Walter; Deidra Slebodnic; brothers, Herbert Beas and wife Betty; John Beas and wife Shirly; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren with one coming any day; 7 great great grandchildren with two on the way; sisters in law, Ann Beas; Joann Delusa and husband Robert; Frances Custer and husband Lou; and brother in law, Nunzio Johncola and wife Agnes. Louise was the number one seamstress at Bestform for many years until her retirement. She was self-taught in many activities, such as sewing, guitar playing, singing, and cooking. She was a fantastic cook, ran her own greenhouse, and sold flowers after her retirement. She loved flowers and plants and enjoyed painting ceramics. Louise was once interviewed by WJAC TV for her extensive frog collection. Louise was a strong willed and determined woman who stayed active well into her 80’s. Friends will be received to celebrate Louise’s life at 4 p.m. Saturday May 11 at East Hills Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 35 Joseph St. Windber.
