Malek, Lucille “Lucy” Deane (Dixon), 95, Blairsville, peacefully passed away on Sunday August 19, 2018 at her home in Socialville, to join her departed family members. Born June 16, 1923 in Blairsville; daughter of the late William Ralph and Daisy Deane (Bennett) Dixon. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Frank “Butch” Malek Sr. She is survived by her six children, Frank Malek Jr. (Brenda), Joe Malek (Pamela), Robin Smith (Bill), Samantha Sherrill, Molly Herby (Stephen Emil), and Penny Evans; Ten grandchildren, Angela Pinizzoto (Nick), Jeffrey Williams II (Nicole), Benjamin Malek (Shannon), Zachary Bongianino (Susan), Lauren Smith (Matt), Heather Brack (Michael), Ryan Williams (Amanda), Kneisha Anthony (Scott), Hank Sherrill, and Chad Calabrese; Seventeen great grandchildren, Taylor, Samantha, Weston, Zachary, Cole, Callie, Gia, Will, Adryan, Ava, Peyton, Logan, Mason, Colton, Allison, McKayla, and Kaid. Lucy dedicated her life to raising her six children, she enjoyed her feline companions, cooking, baking, travelling, and watching NASCAR races. She will be greatly missed for her sense of humor, and her ability to have a good time by all who knew her. The family wishes to thank Indiana County VNA for their support and encouragement in this difficult time, You are all a Godsend. As per Lucy’s wish there will be no  service. Memorial donations can be made in her memory to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, Four Footed Friends, VNA of Indiana County, or a charity of your choice.
