Shirk, Lynda G., 47, Mineral Point, died August 12, 2014 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born November 22, 1966 in Washington D.C., daughter of Richard and Betty (Gabor) Rager. She is survived by her father; husband, Ricky, Johnstown; a son, Brock H. (fiancé Aubrey Kutruff), Mineral Point; a daughter, Corey L. (Adam) Brubaker, San Diego, Ca.; grandson: Trent H. and soon-to-be granddaughter; and a sister, Tamela (Mitch) Rhine, Mechanicsburg. She was preceded in death by her mother and nephew Jeremy Stephens. Lynda enjoyed camping, vacationing in the Bahamas, trips to New York, gambling at the casino, and spending time with her grandchildren, but most importantly her family was her everything. Friends will be received from 2pm until the 4pm memorial service, Saturday August 23, at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., Johnstown, with Nancy Hoover officiating.
