Hoffman, Lynn “Cheetah”, 80, South Fork, passed away peacefully November 14, 2023, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born February 25, 1943, to the late Walter E. and Dorothy (Wilkes) Hoffman. Preceded in death by sisters, Gloria Schellhammer and husband Glenn, and Walterene Blanton. Survived by brother-in-law, Charles Blanton, of Alabama, and numerous nieces and nephews. Cheetah was a graduate of the former Adams-Summerhill High School, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and worked as a crane operator at Bethlehem Steel. He loved hunting and fishing and logged many hours on his boat with Cousin Charlie, Ray, and other friends. Cheetah cherished his time with Jared, Jason, “Jamie Girl”, and his Sunday morning church gang. He had a kind heart, quick wit, and a great sense of humor. The ones who knew him best knew his gentle soul. He will be forever missed. At Lynn’s request there will be no services.
