Flores, Margaret “Peggy” McCombie, Allison, Burns, 90, Johnstown, passed on May 27, 2016 and is now home with her Lord. Born Nov. 20, 1925 in Bakerton to the late Walter J. and Mary (Harris) McCombie. Preceded in death by brother, Walter L. McCombie; sisters, Ruth Allison; Winona Lake, IN; Dorothy Yeager, Zanesville, OH; Olive Bailey, Johnstown; and grandson, Scott Elefante. Margaret was a loving mother. Survived by daughters, Phyllis Jeanne Allison-Rodgers, Johnstown; and Debra Allison-Zambrano, Phoenix, AZ. Margaret and her daughters enjoyed going on bus trips and cooking together. Also survived by six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, George H. McCombie, (Kathy Denk), Johnstown; sisters, Shirley Berkey, (Bruce Shimer), State College; Carolyn (Cally) Stiles (Wilmer), Homer City; and brother-in-law, Charles Bailey (Lynnea), Windber. Margaret worked at Franklin Lunch, Sears, Montgomery Ward, and helped make plane parts during World War II. At Margaret’s request there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
