Kolesar, Margaret, 98, passed away February 18, 2021 in Margate, Florida. Born May 8,1922 in Portage, PA. Preceded in death by husband, Thomas William Kolesar, parents, Albert and Cecelia Rusnak, and all 11 siblings: Albert Rusnak, Cecelia Cicman, Gizella Steinke, Mildred Drass, Anna McKnight, Gustave, John, Helen, Julia, Mary and Margaret (a sister by the same name) Rusnak. Survived by two children, Barry Kolesar and wife Olga Bloise of Margate, Florida and Betty Kolesar-Granata and husband Thomas Granata of Norwalk, Connecticut, and three grandchildren, Ines Bloise, and Maxwell and Theodore Granata. She was a beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews. A resident of Johnstown, PA for over 60 years and member of Grace Lutheran Church. She moved to Coral Springs, Florida in 1985. Margaret enjoyed living in Florida where she loved her patio garden, daily walks at the area shopping mall, and good food and new restaurants with The Compatible Gals Birthday Club. She served as the president of her Homeowners Condo Association at Grenadier Trace in Coral Springs in the early 90’s. She remained active and vibrant throughout her life and had many different hobbies and interest including being an avid-seafood lover, especially shrimp. A graveside service will be held at Grandview Cemetery on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11am.
