Nachtman, Marie (Stitch) “Bansy”, 91, passed away peacefully at home in Duncansville, March 16, 2021. Born December 23, 1929 in Altoona, the daughter of the late Joseph R and Carrie (Biseli) Stich and her step mother Katherine (Stoehr) Stich who raised her from age three when her mother died. She married Fancis R. Nachtman, January 1953.

She is survived by her husband Francis, a son Frank (Denise) of Altoona, three grandchildren Lee (Stephany), Matthew (Erin) and Natalie (John) Cherry, seven Great Grandchildren; a sister Joann Yeckley of Carrolltown, PA and brother Tom (Patricia) of Mansfield,PA.

She was proceeded in death by her sisters; Jimmie Copperman and Rita clever; along with her brothers John and Ray.

Marie was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna Church, Duncansville, and was a 1948 Graduate of Altoona Catholic High School. She loved animals and was a member of many animal organizations.
