Obituary
Westrick, Marilyn M. 71, St. Benedict Manor, St Benedict, PA, passed away March 6, 2021 at UPMC Altoona. Born May 12, 1949, in Spangler. Daughter of the late Leo and Rita (Lantzy) Westrick. Preceded in death by brother, Denis “Wienor” Westrick. Survived by brother, Leo “Tucker” and Karen (Zedek) Westrick, Altoona, PA; Ted and Mary Jo (Malloy) Westrick, Carrolltown, PA; a sister, Angela Long, sister-in-law, Sharon (Pellas) Westrick, Hastings, PA and several nieces and nephews. Marilyn was loving, carefree and religious. She enjoyed many things, such as working in the Hastings library, reading, going to movies, plays, playing bingo, family gatherings and volunteering at Haida Manor, where she would spend time talking to the residents. She was always seen with a smile on her face. She will be sadly missed by many. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff and residents of St. Benedict Manor who treated her special and welcomed her. Thanks also to the staff of Haida Manor for their caring support. Friends will be received from 9:00 to 10:45 AM Saturday, March 13,2021 at Easly Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver Rd, Hastings, PA. A mass will follow at St. Bernard’s Church at 11 am. Internment at St Boniface Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Hastings Library, PO Box 515, Hastings, PA 16646.
