Frank, Marilyn R., 79, Hastings, went to be with the Lord January 11, 2016 at home. She was born October 29, 1936 in Hastings, PA, daughter of David and Mary (Kline) Kibler. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her son, John Frank. She is survived by her husband Richard W. Frank, her children Mary Beth Frank and her wife Shelly Bogus, Maryland; Michelle Frank, Ebensburg; Steve Frank and his husband Rob Arcurio, Johnstown; Scott Frank and his companion Tammy (Kroh) Bell, Altoona; and Anne Frank and her husband Rick Surprise, Lansdale, PA; her grandchildren, Melissa Frank, Jenna (Frank) and her husband Dan Bender, Noelle Frank, Elizabeth Frank and Isabella Frank; her great grandchildren, Wesley and Theodore Bender; her sister Joanne Holtz, Hastings, and her daughter –in-law Bridget (Shero) Frank.She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Marilyn was employed by the Hastings Public Library. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, where she was also a member of the churches choir and folk choir for many years, singing was one of her favorite things to do. Marilyn was the Secretary for the Hastings Chapter of St. Vincent DePaul Society, she was a lifetime member of the Hastings VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and she was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She really enjoyed playing cards in two card clubs, being a member of her bowling team and seeing plays and reading. Friends and family will be received Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St., Hastings. There will also be a time of Visitation on January 15, 2016 from 10 a.m. until time of mass at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings. Father Thaddeus Rettger Officiating. Interment will be at St. Bernard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Marilyn’s memory to the Hastings Public Library, or to the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
