Obituary

Covalt, Marion F. “Toots”- 85, Johnstown, passed away on May 19, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born September 20, 1933, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Oscar H. and Esther (Meridith) Lewis Sr.; Marion is preceded in death by her parents; her husband James W. Covalt; her siblings, Melvin “Pete”, Oscar “Boots”, William “Bill”, Clarence, Ethel “Sis” Facci, and Emma “Ruth” Strick. Marion is survived by her sister, Mary Wiesheier (Jim); sister-in-law, Shirley Lewis; brother-in-law, Ronald Covalt (Kathy); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Marion was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. She was also a member of The Elk #173. She enjoyed doing plastic canvas, crafts, and taking care of her home. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday May 25, 2019 at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren, 856 Benshoff Hill Road, Johnstown, PA. Pastor Rob Wolf, officiating.
