Hastings, PA – Marlin J. Miller, 87, of Hastings passed away January 13, 2023 at Miners Hospital. Born August 1, 1935 in St. Benedict; son of the late James and Rose (Gray) Miller. Also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Survived by his wife Janet (McGlynn) Miller; sons, Glenn Miller (Kris), Bridgewater, NJ, Darren Miller, Manville, NJ; sister, Alice Anna, Hastings; grandchildren, Thomas Miller (Melissa Perez), Robert Miller (Jill), Mellissa Miller (Derek Harrington), Doug Grimm, (Jill), Kristie Rinaldo (Mike); great grandchildren, Olivia Grimm, Aiden Grimm, Ethan Grimm, Aria Rinaldo; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Miller retired from the Edison Ford Assembly Plant. He served in the US Navy during Korea. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, St. Vincent DePaul, Hastings VFW, Northern Cambria American Legion, he volunteered at Peer Counseling, Stephens Ministry, Emmaus House, and Hospital Ministry where he was a Eucharistic Minister. Family and friends will be received Thursday January 19th from 10 A.M. until the time of Mass at 11 A.M. at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Fr. Thaddeus Rettger, OSB, celebrant.
