Tabek, Mary A., 82, Johnstown, died peacefully in her sleep February 9, 2017 after a brief stay at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born October 30, 1934, Johnstown, daughter of the late George and Catherine (Ciesla) Migut. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard A. Tabek; two infant brothers, brothers, John A., Walter J. Sr., Joseph M., and Thaddeus J. Migut; sisters, Angeline M. Chanda; Sophie A. Mock; and Stella M Czyz; sisters-in-law, Irene Graff; Betty Hansen; and Beverly Dunkleberger. Survived by her children, Kathy A. Penrod (D. Kim); Andrew G. Tabek (Jeanie); Richard J. Tabek (Kelly), all of Johnstown; Susan M. Arena (Leonard), Boiling Springs; grandchildren, Ryan and Jared Tabek; Vincent and Angela Arena; Evan Tabek (Samantha); Emily Lebron; Jeffrey and Jessey DeBarto; brother-in-law, Gerald Mock; sister-in-law, Joann Kuzmiak (Stephen); and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a nursing graduate and retiree of Mercy Hospital of Johnstown and finished her nursing career at The Presbyterian Home in Johnstown. Her family will always remember, thank, love, and miss their Mom, Grandma, and Aunt Mimi. We wish her Eternal Love in our Savior Jesus Christ.
