Semelsberger, Mary J. “Jane”-88, Indiana, formerly of Hastings, went to be with Lord on Monday February 20, 2017, at Communities at Indian Haven. Born August 19, 1928, in Spangler; she was a daughter of the late James and Hazel (Hetrick) Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Russell W. Semelsberger, and her sister Joanne Westrick. Jane is survived by her daughter Mary Jane Chakot (John), Indiana; her grandchildren Adam (Genna) Chakot, Blairsville; Lucas Chakot and his fiancée Haley Hunter, Indiana; Marcus Chakot, York; and her sister Doris Baum, Hastings; Jane was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Jane was a longtime member of St. Bernard Caholic Church. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday February 22, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St., Hastings, PA 16646. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday February 23, 2017 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings. Father Michael Gabler O.S.B. Officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
