Clossin, (Vardian) Maryann (aka Edith/Calamity), 66, Johnstown, passed away September 29, 2023, at Windber Hospice. Born February 18, 1957, to the late Edward Vardian and Virginia (Yurt) Bracken. Preceded in death by brother, Edward Vardian and step-brother, Richard Bracken. Survived by husband, Ron Clossin; daughter, Jess Ferguson and husband Brian; grandchildren, Blake and Kylie Ferguson; stepfather, Harry Bracken; uncle, Jim Bracken; brother, Joe Vardian; step-sister, Cheryl Bracken; sister-in-law, Chelly Vardian; cousin, Debbie White; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Amy Rolley-Distefano; Brenda Sowerbrower; and Regina Antol. Between Lee Hospital and the Lutheran Home, Maryann was a nurse’s aide and caretaker for over 20 years. She was also a former member of the SES Club.
