Link, Matilda L. “Tillie” – 90, Hastings, passed away on Saturday September 8, 2018 at Miners Medical Center. Born June 8, 1928 in Susquehanna Township; she was a daughter of the late Celestine and Evelyn (Hollen) Holtz. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert F. Link; her siblings; John Celestine Holtz, Clement Holtz, Joseph Holtz, Adrian S. “Ade” Holtz, Margaret Kielbowick, Theresa McMullen, Cecilia Gelormino, Grace Stiller, and Anna Mary Stoltz.   Survived by her sons, Richard H. Link (Marion), Joseph B. Link; her grandchildren; Robert R. Link (Leah), Maria Toney (Chris), Derek Link (Mary Ann), Carol Derry (Okiema), and Stephanie Link (John Mertens); 12 great grandchildren; her siblings; Edward (Shirley) Holtz, Regina Kaspar, Josephine (Pat) Gray, Maurita Bergman; her sister-in-laws Nancy Holtz, and Alberta Holtz. Tillie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Tillie was a long time tour escort, working for both Blue & White Travels, and Happy Time Travels. She was a member of the Hastings VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Catholic Daughters, Red Hat, Fire Ladies, Hastings Senior Citizens, she volunteered at Red Cross, she was a cook at Cambria Heights High School, and also at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Tillie enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and spending time with her friends and family.  Family and friends will be received on Tuesday September 11, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home. 333 Beaver Street, Hastings, PA, and again at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings, PA. Father Thaddeus E. Rettger OSB, officiating.
