I, Melvin Poborsky at the fine age of 85 was graciously called home by our loving Father. I’m sad to leave behind my beautiful loving wife of 59 years, Susanne (Black), my children Joe (Diane Davis), Dianna (Robert Blake), Melvin (Tammy Betz) and Renee (Joe Turturica). My Sister Agnes (Poloyac) will find happiness in knowing that I’m with our brother Bobby along with Mother (Helen Kemp Poborsky) and Daddy (Joseph W. Poborsky). I have had such a wonderful life, great family and friends that have created many many wonderful memories. I carry with me the memories of Polka dancing with my girls in the kitchen on Sunday mornings. Memories of Hunting and fishing with my boys will always bring a smile to my heart. When I remember all the time we spent camping and boating together, it warms my soul as I hope it will warm yours also. They say your grandchildren are your payback and boy did I get my payback! I have ten wonders from God, one I’m fishing with now. But great grandchildren, I will watch them from above with open eyes and a joyful heart for the wonders they will become. I remember motorcycles and fast cars, mountain pies and kids galore, the wild young times and the smarter older times. Don’t remember me with sadness as the last few years were hard. Remember me as the fine young man, as the loving husband, the joyful father, and the caring man that I was. My life was lived with love. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday the 26th @ 2pm at Ehrenfield park. Arrangements in care of Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., “Exclusive Provider of Veterans and Family Memorial Care.” Condolences may be made at HindmanFuneralHomes.com
