Obituary

Duell, Michael C., 65, Johnstown, passed away July 14, 2022, at UPMC Shadyside after a 4-year battle of cancer. Born June 9, 1957, to Maynard and Ruth (Callihan) Duell. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years Martha Ann (Holmes) Duell. Also survived by son, Josh (Marie); Grandchildren, Layla, Lillian, Laina, and Michael; sisters, Jennifer (Rick) Wagner and Michele (Richard Duffy) Duell; nephew, Ricky (Hope Leer); nieces, Katie Beth, Hannah (Robert) Zearing, Liana Brickford; great nieces, Gracie May and Charlotte Jimenez. Michael was a member of the Belmont Fire Department for many years. He enjoyed fishing and shooting his guns. His favorite thing to do was spending time with his grandchildren. Michael is going to be sadly missed by his family and friends. There will be no viewing or service at this time, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
