Meyers, Michael Robert, 56, Johnstown, passed away May 2, 2018. Born March 28, 1962 to Robert and Connie (Bash) Meyers. Preceded in death by his father. Survived by his mother; children, Nicholas, Joseph, and Rebecca Meyers; brothers, Richard L. Meyers and wife Leslie; and Scott Meyers and wife Denise. Michael was known as “Boom-Pa” to his beloved grandchildren, Preston and Maddie Meyers. Also survived by wife, Sheila (Hickey); niece, Nichole Boyer and husband Dan; and nephew, Andrew Meyers. Michael was a graduate of Central Cambria High School and Admiral Peary Vo-Tech. He was a lifelong Senior Design Engineer. Michael enjoyed bowling, playing volleyball, and coaching little league baseball. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguin fan. Michael’s pride and joy were his children and grandchildren. Over the years, Michael made many friends and will be missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received Monday May 7 from 1-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd.
