Oswalt, Michael V., 44, Johnstown, passed away October 9, 2021. Born March 3, 1977. Son of Richard and Carol (Katensky) Oswalt. Preceded in death by sister, Cory A. Oswalt; paternal grandfather, Roy V. Oswalt; paternal grandmother, Ada Schrengost (Harry); and maternal grandparents, Jewell & Michael Katensky. Survived by parents; sons, Logan and Jordan Oswalt; brother, Chad Oswalt (Nichole); girlfriend, Jenn Darr and her sons, Kody and Blaize; nephews and niece; great niece; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Michael enjoyed shooting at the Daisytown Sportsman’s Club indoor 22 League and enjoyed camping at Glendale Year Round. Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., Johnstown, PA 15902. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Benshoff Hill Cemetery to follow.
