Obituary

Gaal, Mildred P., 92, Johnstown, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Rosewood Assisted Living. Born on May 23, 1926, a daughter of Joseph and Anna (Mihelic) Thomas. Mildred is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 30 years, Ernest A. Gaal; and her son Bryan Gaal. Mildred was also preceded in death by several siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Tipton and her husband Michael, Alexandria, VA; and her sister Betty Schonvisky, Johnstown, PA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. There will be a visitation on Tuesday August 21, 2018 from 1pm-2pm at Hindman Funeral Home, 146 Chandler Ave., Johnstown, PA 15906. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at Grandview Cemetery.
